The Rockland OPD provides consultations for various specialties
like Orhtopaedics, Gastroenterology, Gynaecology, Oncology, Cardiology,
Dermatology, General Physician, Urology, Neurology, Plastic Surgery
and Paediatric Surgery.
All the formalities starting from registration of a patient to
the final billing are carried out at the reception located in the
OPD itself.
Day
Care Surgery Services
The Day Care Unit (DCU) has a State-of-the-Art
Operation Theatre with laminar flow, pneumatic instrumentation,
Maquet OT table with C-arm facility, pendants wall mounted,
control panel and a central gas supply. It also has 6 Post-Operative
beds which are independent cubicles well equipped with patient
monitoring system, ventilator, emergency crash cart and
well trained staff to handle any emergency. All surgeries
requiring a short stay are posted here.
Laboratory
Services
The Rockland Laboratory is fully automated performing investigations
for all the disciplines of the hospital round the clock (24hrs.).
Radiology
Services
The department is equipped with 500 MA X-Ray, Color Doppler, portable
100 MA X-Ray, during the startup phase, with the provision of MRI
and CT and Bone Densitometry in the second phase.
O.T
Services
The heart of the hospital, the two Ultramodern MGI Operation
Theatres (along with the postoperative wards) with Laminar
flow, Pneumatic instrumentation and patient monitoring system
are installed to facilitate all types of simple and major
surgeries.
CSSD
The Central Sterile Services Department is equipped with ultra
modern, microprocessor controlled autoclaves, washing bays, ultrasonic
cleaners and dryers.
Rehabilitation
Services
This department has an Isokinetic workstation and Microwave therapy.
Besides standard physiotherapy equipments in the first phase, a
provision for Laser, IFT and Ultrasonic therapy is being made in
the second phase.
In-patients
Services
Several categories of rooms (Economy/ Double/ Single/ Deluxe/ Super
deluxe) with nurse call and other excellent hospitality services
have been specially designed keeping in mind all the necessary requirements
of a patient.
Hospital
Services
The hospital has sophisticated conference cum seminar room, a doctor's
lounge, a library, and a state-of-the-art communication system interfaced
with the computerization of the hospital, latest fire detection
and fire fighting system. Also 24hr power backup is provided for
the patients as well as other guests. All the areas of the hospital
